İzmir, July 31 () - The Aegean Businesswomen Association (EGİKAD) Chair of the Executive Board Betül Elmasoğlu urged that “peace in the country should be resettled in order to prevent a possible affect on the economy, over the comeback of terror attacks.”

Having visited the Garanti Roaster & Grinder Equipment Co. and its owner Sinem Umsu with board members of EGİKAD, Elmasoğlu made a statement and referred to the brief interviews with their members to listen to their problems, in their workplaces.

“Turkey is reversing back to the dark days of 1990s. We do not know who aims to profit from this chaotic situation, but we know that this ongoing unrest is not for the sake of the citizens” said Elmasoğlu.

Having urged that doing business with the eastern and southeastern provinces is bogging down, Elmasoğlu said “From textile to industry, various sectors are having problems, since the process before and after the July 7 elections. This has also interrupted the ongoing economic fight of our women. We wish for a country with a newly formed government distant from these conflicts, and for a more peaceful political scene.”
