Istanbul, Nov 25 () - Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke to U.S. President Barack Obama on the phone, over the security crisis in Syria as a Russian jet was shot down by Turkish F-16s “due to border breach”, on Nov. 24.

President Erdoğan and his counterpart Obama discussed the shot down of the Russian jet, while U.S. President Obama urged “Turkey’s right to defend its national sovereignty is supported by the U.S., as well as the NATO.
