Istanbul, May 4 () - Peasants blocked a road in Milas district of Muğla in Aegean Turkey, to stop the passage of trucks working for four minecompanies operating in the area, on Monday.

The peasants claimed that the trucks were destroying the road of the villages to the town and polluting the air causing diseases.

"We live in dust. We can not open our doors or windows. We even cen not eat anything. Our childeren caughing because of the dust coming from the road when trucks pass by" Nazife Sakarya (62) said, adding that, they would not let their childeren suffer any more.
