Hakan Kabahasanoğlu / Istanbul, May 8 () - A primary school principal was beaten up by an angry parent of a student at the school, recorded by security cameras of the school.
Ömer Göbel, Principal of Şehit Binbaşı Hüseyin Avni Alparslan Primary School in Tirebolu district of Giresun province in northern Turkey, was attacked by an angry parent of a student on Wednesday in his room.
The principal suffered injuries and bruises during the attack as the whole incident was captured by the security cameras of the school.
The attack against the school principal was protested by members of unions Eğitim Bir Sen, Türk Eğitim Sen, Eğitim Sen, and Eğitim İş.
The assailant was learnt to be a civil servant at Tirebolu Courthouse. An investigation about the incident has been launched.
