Istanbul, April 13 () - Turkey's Social Security Institution refused to pay the bill for a medicine, Opdivo, used to cure cancer, said Murat Aslan, brother of 41-year old Necati Aslan, a street hawker, suffering from lymphosarcomata.

Murat Aslan said, the family was not able to pay 39 thousand lira (16 thousand dollars), cost of the 3-month cure. Officials from the Institute said, they would not pay the bill, because the medicine was not in the "payable medicines" list.
