Vehbi Sarıhan / Manisa, Oct 2 () - A 50-year-old female villager living in the Aegean province of Mersin produces completely organic aubergines that reaches one kilo, without agricultural spraying.
Thus, Birgül Keşkekeoğlu offers her costumers large and round shape type of aubergines and each of them weighs between 900 grams and 1,400 kg. An aubergine can feed a family, and can be sold to costumers for 1 liras.
The villager told she has only used water and animal manure, and the products were this big due to the fertility of the soil that she owns.
