Öykü Altuntaş - Murat Kibritoğlu - Çağlar Öztürk / Adana, Dec 15 () - US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter came to Incirlik Airbase in Turkey's Adana province, near Syrian border, for a morale visit to the US troops located in the base.

Secretary of Defense Carter, is expected to meet the pilots and go up to the rostrum at around noon for a presser in the Incirlik Airbase, which has become the hub of anti-IS (Islamic State) Coalition forces, where the jets carry on operations to the IS targets both in Syria and Iraq.

Gen. Paul J. Selva, 10th Vice Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited the Airbase recently, where the 39th Tactical Group of the United States Air Force (USAF) based, within the Operation Inherent Resolve against the IS targets.

High level commanders from US, Turkey, Spain and Qatar have come together in the Incirlik Airbase yesterday, for a meeting on flight and ground security in the operation region.
