Adana, March 16 () - The alarm level has reached the top at Turkey's İncirlik Airbase in Adana that embody U.S.-led coalition jets, after series of terror attacks in the country.
In the last few days, the highest alarm level that is called the 'Delta' has been declared, increased from the 'Charlie', which is positioned under the top level.
Accordingly, the military has given Turkish personnel a one-day-long permit due to an intelligence processed last Friday, although the implementation was told to be a drill, said reports.
Five coalition members, U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, fighting against the Islamic State (IS) have deployed their aircrafts in İncirlik since July and several aircrafts have been taking off and watching the Syrian border on daily basis since then. However, this mobility has diminished after Russian jets increased its presence in the region.
Accordingly, the security measures, assured by Turkish officials 24 hours a day, have been boosted around the Patriot Ville that is surrounded by a 25-kilometer-long wire cloth.
Some of the Turkish personnel shuttles use different gates despite the routine, in the recent days.
