Hasan Dönmez / Konya, Sep 1 () - In Central Anatolian province of Konya, 17-year-old girl, who have refused to marry son of her uncle, working in Austria as labourer, despite her family’s request, abandoned her home.
The family of 17 year old Rabia D., worried about their daughter’s life, called on the girl to come home.
Rabia D. has got engaged with her cousin 20-year-old H.A., who have been working in Austria as labourer upon the family’s request 10 months ago.
While H.A. has visited Konya regularly, the couple have began to have problems. As the young girl refused to marry him, she sent a text message to her mother’s mobile phone and said “I can’t stand what my fiancée does anymore. I couldn’t tell you that I didn’t want this. Thus, I am leaving mother”.
Police teams launched researches to find the girl who have gone missing with around 6,000 liras.
