Ferhat Dervişoğlu / Hatay, July 20 () –  Aleppo Military Council commander, Zaher al-Saket announced that  the Free Syrian Army (FSA) gave the decision to unify branches affiliated to FSA under one command, in order to strengthen the fight against the regime.

Almost 100 senior officers, who had abandoned the Syrian army and crossed to the opposition groups within the fight against the regime, held a meeting in Turkey’s Reyhanlı district in southeastern province of Hatay.
 
The meeting issued the decision of unifying the fronts of Aleppo, Damascus, Daraa, Homs and Idlib, looking out for a common action.
 
“We have decided to unify the groups fighting against the regime as small branches, in order to join forces with opposition forces. I am hoping to accomplish a result soon” stated Zaher al-Saket.
