Ferit Aslan / Mardin, Sep 9 () - The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) commission, including Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş on its way to southeastern Cizre district of Şırnak in attemp to draw attention to the recent developments and the curfew in the region, was blocked at Midyat town in Mardin.

While Demirtaş along with ministers and MPs of the party was blocked on their route through İdil village, riot control vehicles and panzers intervened.

After blocking the commission convoy, police officers told the the party members that they would not let them pass due to the ongoing curfew.

Negotiation talks continue between MPs and police officers.
