Antalya, Aug 14 () - In Mediterranean resort town of Antalya, a boutique hotel owner opened a public culture house consisting of a library and art gallery in Kaleiçi district, where tea, coffee, internet facilities are all free to its visitors.

The “Villa Verde Culture House Gallery & Library” founded by boutique hotel owner Ali Kocaman and his Japanese wife Mitsuyo Kimura Kocaman, two book enthusiasts, offers visitors a public library for free use.

The free library, open to visitors between 08.00 a.m. and 20.00 p.m., includes around 1000 different books from various genres. Library visitors can also borrow books and enjoy reading, while drinking tea or coffee, using internet facilities for free. The culture house also receives books that people bring from their houses to contribute to the library.

Art and painting gallery within the culture house is also accessible to artists, free of charge.

Creater of this all inclusive package of culture and art, Ali Kocaman, commented that this “non-commercial culture house” has been founded with the aim of supporting the cultural and artistic development, at the least, of the Antalya city’s people.
