Diyarbakır, Aug 31 () - The British journalists Mohammed İsmael Rasool, Philip Gıngel Hanrahan and Philip John Pendlebury, who have been detained in Diyarbakır on August 27, were arrested by the court in southeastern province of Diyarbakır.
 
Two reporters affiliated to British news organization Vice News have been detained by Turkish security forces along with a fixer and translator in the team, in Diyarbakır, on Thursday Aug 27.
 
Turkish security sources have declared the journalists had been detained for filming without government accreditation and have accused the team of supporting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
 
International rights organizations have recently called on Turkish authorities to release Vice News journalists.
