Bedir Altınok / Kars, Aug 27 () - A resident in Doyumlu Village of northeastern province of Kars combined art and production and made the huge “Caucassian Bea Statue” filled with hives, which have recently given five kilos of honey. The products will be put on sail by auction.

The statue modelled into a seven-meter-long bea has been made by 460-year-old pine trees, by painter- sculptor Yücel Üzeyir, at the entrance of a village in 45 kilometers distance to Kars province. The statue formed by a hand figure holding a flower on the bottom and a figure of queen bee and endemic plants on the top, has blazed a trail and produced around five kilos of honey, after the two colonies of caucassian beas have settled in hives in the “queen bee” figure.
