İbrahim Laleli / Antalya, Sep 15 () – In touristic resort town of Antalya, the Aquarium has pulled through the concerns in Turkey’s tourism with a positive season occupancy rate.

Having targeted European countries and Balkans, after the rubble crisis in Russia, the Aquarium administration has reached a number of 1 million visitors in 2015, told General Manager Kemal Kumkumoğlu.

The tourism attraction point with 5 million litres of main tank capacity, more than 30,000 marine animals under more than 5,000 species has not attained the season success that it has targeted, against these positive developments, over the crisis in Russia. However, the works of the administration bore fruit in the summer season, after the strategies changed destination.

“We expect an uptrend in the next season, but this wouldn’t be high-speed. We believe that after two or three seasons, the impact of the crisis would die out completely. We will resume our works in the domestic market and European market in particular, in the next season, too” said Kumkumoğlu.
