Hakime Torun / Ankara, Dec 3 () - The Turkish society has been overwhelmed and tensed and the normalization of the country and politics is crucial, “as stated by the Prime Minister” within new the government programme, said Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSİAD) head Cansen Başaran-Symes.

"We wish for the ease of tension and returning to our natural life rhythm, where peace rules rather than terror and trust in future dominates fears" urged Başaran-Symes, speaking at the TÜSİAD high advisory board meeting held in Sheraton Hotel in Ankara, on Dec. 3.

TÜSİAD seeks to look positively to the future and regain the global competition that the business world has lost, said the statement.

“Since the global crisis, chips cannot be downed. Without of doubt, economic and social developments in our country are influenced by global circumstances” the TÜSİAD head stressed, referring to a “political instability” in the global scene, making the implementation of necessary economic and social reforms difficult.

Başaran-Symes also added the upcoming new year will bring a ”4.0 term” in the industry. “Societies, states change. Every young generation join the society with different expectations” she said, stating our days is formed by mobile technology, internet and clean and efficient energy Technologies, smart cities.

“We struggle to separate the reality with the virtual. This is not only about technology but also mentality and approach” she said.
