Istanbul, May 8 () - USB powered product to encrypt files of laptops and PC’s to prevent data theft, developed by C-Tech company are on display at the International Defense Industry Fair in TÜYAP Fair Center.

New technological products for cyber security are introduced in the fair by C-Tech Information Technologies firm, which is one of the consortium members of Türksat 6A satellite that is planned to be launched in 2019.

Türksat 6A satellites’ telemetric systems would be developed completely with local capital and the C-Tech Information Technologies, Cüneyt Fırat, General Manager of the company said and went on as follows:

"We took part in tender bid consortium of Türksat 6A satellite. C-Tech, in consortium along with ASELSAN and TAI, is responsible for satellite’s communication with the land station. We will locally develop the communication system that we call the telemetry system.

"The satellite is planned to be launched in 2019 and when launched, our telemetry system will be on it. This is a good step for us in space missions. That will be the first time in Turkey to such a satellite of communication and we are proud of it.

"We do studies on cyber security. We have a product named “Security” that can be used in government bodies, defense forces and personal use. In laptops and computers, this is a solution you can encrypt any file with USB.

"Without the key, your files can not be viewed by anyone. If you lose the laptop or someone tries to break through, protected files are unseen. This is a high standing product."
