Istanbul, March 4 () - Capital magazine awarded Sabancı Holding Chairwoman Güler Sabancı "The Most Responsible Leader" for the ninth time, within the "Social Responsbility Leaders Survey" conducted since 2004.
"These results show that Sabancı has been one of the leading respected and credible brands in Turkey" said Güler Sabancı in a statement after the announcement of Capital.
"Since its foundation, as the Sabancı Foundation we have offered more than 42,500 scolarship, around a thousand awards, and support to 119 projects with 11 million liras. Accordingly, we have touched millions of lives through various programmes we have carried out" she said.
Sabancı underlined that the Holding has been a defender for rights of women, young people and disabled people within national and international platforms, adding that their vision has interiorized social responsibility as one of their essential values.
"We will continue to work in a bid to deserve this trust and making lasting impacts, with a sense of responsibility" Sabancı vowed.
