İzmir, Nov 3 () – A district municipality in Aegean province of İzmir has launched a campaign to protect the environment, which aims to spark a new wave for collecting and parsing out wastes.

A special team deployed by the Buca District Municipality has started to categorize wastes, in order to form “waste inventories”, which allow the team to identify, then collect and spare trashes.

Thus, recycling wastes will prevent pollution and minimize the costs of storages in the district, in a systemathic way.

The implementation will be carried out, with respect to the notice released by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in 2007, within four rounds for for seasons, during the year.

The municipality have started to form exploratory groups within the “integrated management of wastes”, categorizing samples under 18 titles, according to unique characteristics of wastes in disadvantaged, middle and higher ranks’ life spaces.
