Izmir, Nov 9 () - Reports saying one of the leading football stars of the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has bought a mansion in Turkey’s Aegean resort town of Urla caused a stir.

İzmir’s Urla is a discreet resort town, also known for its organic lifestyle, in province of İzmir.

Rumors have spread after an international real estate firm’s announcement that the Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought a mansion costing 2.6 million dollars in Urla.

Accordingly, it was alleged that the Portuguese football star Ronaldo has bought a mansion in Urla, having fancied the house after he gave a look at some images, and was set to arrive to the resort town this summer for vacation.

He was said to have paid 3.2 million euro for this mansion including two swimming pools in a 12-hectare area.

Similar whispers have said Ronoldo had bought a mansion but the agreement has not been settled.
