Ahmet Yıldırım / Germany, Oct 12 () – Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel is expected to visit Turkey’s capital Ankara on Oct. 18, to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.
According to statement made by Government Spokesperson Steffen Seibert, Merkel is set to discuss fight against terror, Syrian crisis and solutions for the problem of refugees.
Merkel had condemned the Ankara massacre as "a particularly cowardly act aimed directly against civil rights, democracy and peace", Seibert said.
