Ergün Tos / Muğla, Nov 4 () - A foreigner tourist has crashed into sea from 800-meter-height, while paragliding in touristic Fethiye resort town, then survived without any injuries, in Aegean province of Muğla.

A tourist called Peter, who refused to declare his surname or home country, has escaped death after his shroud lines have raddled together, after he has launched from the Babadağ Mountain summit of 1965 altitude.

The paraglider was unable to control his parachute, after performing some acrobatic moves in the sky. Having started to lose height, the tourist attempted to use his reserve chute, but he failed.

After the paraglider crashed into the sea, a rescue boat arrived at the scene. The officers in the rescue boat noticed he had, surprisingly, no injuries.

The tourist refused the attempts to call an ambulance, also saying “the water was great”. After the incident, he simply took his wet paraglide and took the road back to his hotel.
