Yusuf Ünal / Antalya, July 13 () - A Chinese woman has died after being hit by a bus in the Mediterranean province of Antalya.

Jring Wang, a Chinese tourist in Antalya, died after she was hit by a public bus around 1:00 p.m. on July 12 while crossing a street called Akdeniz Avenue. 

The bus hit Wang when the 32-year old woman was on the way to the beach, crossing the street after she had grabbed a fruit juice. Wang died at the scene.

The driver of the bus was detained over the incident.

Meanwhile, the dead body of an Iranian tourist, identified as Kamel Moradiasl who had been missing for 12 days, was found on a deserted land in the eastern province of Iğdır on July 9.

Moradiasl, 52, had been on a trip to Iğdır before his dead body was found in a deserted land in the 14 Kasım neighborhood of Iğdır. His body was found in a police search after his family informed authorities he was missing on June 28.

In a separate incident, Iurli Guzeev, 51, a Russian tourist, died after fainting when rafting with his wife on a river in the Mediterranean province of Antalya on July 9.

While on a boat on the Köprüçay River along the Beşkonak village in Antalya’s Manavgat district, Guzeev suddenly fainted and died at the scene.

The medical staff dispatched to the scene sent Guzeev’s body to the Antalya Forensic Medical Institution for a medical examination to find the exact reason of death.
