Ömer Pınar / Şanlıurfa, August 3 - The Şanlıurfa Municipality announced that 3,000 bird nests will be placed throughout the town’s various parks, within the, “We are coexisting together” bird nest project.

“In Şanliurfa province, birds nest are substantial. Particularly in our large parks, we will be placing bird nests under the name of ‘nests of mercy’. This is a project promoting ‘coexisting’” said Celalettin Güvenç, Mayor of Şanlıurfa.

The southeastern Şanlıurfa province was striked over the deadly suicide bomb attack of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) leaving 32 killed, resulting a chain of tense events including clashes with the ISIL and PKK operations. Politicans, NGOs and people have been urging peace and stability in the region, over the climate of violence and hostility .
