Cevdet Şen / İzmir, Sep 22 () – In Bergama district of Aegean province of İzmir, announced UNESCO World Heritage region, microlight aircrafts keep attracting tourists seeking to watch the scenery of the historical region from the sky.

Microlight aircraft tours have been offered to visitors since Sept 3, launched by Fly Pergamon aviation initiative, supported by Bergama Municipality.

The initiative also aims at introducing aviation, air advertising, air parks, archaeology and scientific efforts in the region, particularly to young people.

The initiative also puts to practice agricultural disinfection works.

Three flight packages to choose

Generally, departures and landings are assured from a runway in the Fatih neighborhood .

Package programmes includes trips during 15, 30 and 60 minutes. Also, core trainings are held within 15-minute-long courses.

History enthusiasts to witness Akropolis from the sky

Tourists with a particular interest in history of the region can also attend the tours of “Akropolis from the sky”, where the route is selected in cooperation with the passengers. For this particular trip, tickets cost 80 euro for 15 minutes, 140 euro for 30 minutes, and 250 euro for one hour.
