Izmir, July 24 () - A "bookmatic" project, carried out by the Medical Faculty of Ege University, offers patients and their relatives a series of books under the title of “Public Health Books”, in the Aegean province of İzmir.

One of the first beneficiaries of this health library was the rector of Ege University Professor Candeğer Yılmaz. Yılmaz explained that they aim at preventing the infollution about diseases and added “We have aimed at correct the wrong information people hold with recent reliable sources, thus gathered these books all together" while speaking at the 60th anniversary of the faculty.

The bookmatic, offering the series of “Public Health Books”, gives patients the opportunity to access books on various diseases such a allergies, heart transplant, obesity and high blood pressure, priced between 6 to 10 liras.
