Engin Anak / Antalya, Oct 29 () - Iranian TV show 'Next Persian Stars', a talent finding show inspired by American Idol, kicked off its final competitions in Turkey’s touristic resort town of Alanya, in southern Antalya province.
Some 20 candidates competing to become the next star of Iran has performed its first shows on the stage of Goldcity touristic complex, within the three-day-long contest.
Iranians to chose the next star
Famous Iranian names, Mohammed Maghadam, Vartan Avanasian, Aref, Omid, and Manaachehr Cheshmazar have been the jury of the contest where 400 people from Iran participated.
Broadcasted by Iran’s private TV channel, eight people were eliminated, leaving 12 people to vie for becoming one of the six finalists. Following the last performances, a public poll will determine one woman and one man, as Iran’s next stars.
