Yaşar Kaplan - Erkan Çobanoğlu / Hakkari, Dec 3 () – In Yüksekova distict of southeastern province of Hakkari, sheep herds that have been stuck in heavy snow fall on highlands were saved by villagers, along with vehicles and teams for winter service.
The heavy snow that has started on Dec. 2 have been blocking ways and imprisoning villagers in their houses, in the region.
Meanwhile, around three thousands sheep stuck between two villages and their shepherds had to call the district governorate and villagers for help.
Herds were saved and brought back to the village, after a 5-hour-long struggle.
