İdris Tiftikçi / İstanbul, Aug 14 () – In Anatolian Kadıköy district of Istanbul city, members of “Women for Peace Initiative” have held the protest calling on “Speak up for peace”. Within the protest, letters with peace ribbons have been handed out by the protesters on the street.

“A war sparks in Turkey, once again. Heaviness, fear, worries, heart palpitations across Turkey. They tell us to keep silent. They tell us to give our men, so they can die for the sake of the nation, kill for the nation. They tell ‘give birth to future soldiers. Your duty is to raise children for the sake of the nation, the country’. They call ‘You give birth, we make use of it’ “ said the press statement.

The group, then, have dispersed without any incidents.
