Günseli Kenarlı - Yaşar Kaçmaz / Istanbul, Sep 15 () – Migrants of Syrian origin in attempt to cross into Greece illegally through highways have flocked to the massive bus terminal in Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul, after their "journey of hope" was, this time, hindered on land route.

Hundreds of Syrians, mostly children and women, have been waiting at the terminal, after bus companies departing for Thrace provinces have refused to sell tickets to Syrians.

After the deadly migrant boat disasters killing thousands off the Aegean waters, migrants have set eye on the highways to cross into Greece and then other European countries.
