Cihan Kaya – İbrahim Aslan / Muğla – Sinop, Nov 3 () - Several workplace accidents occurred in northern and western province, leaving at least two workers killed, local reports said.
One of the incidents struck the Köyceğiz district of Aegean province of Muğla, where 55-year-old woodcutter, Saadettin Atlı got trapped under a boulder, while working on a caterpillar.
His colleagues’ attempts to save the worker and call the gendarmerie and health teams did not give any results.
The worker had four children.
Construction worker trapped under rubble
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old construction worker, Ali İhsan Sezici, was trapped under the rubbles, as the retaining wall collapsed at an ongoing construction site in northern province of Sinop.
His brother Rıfat Sezici, also working at the same construction site, was shocked when he saw the corpse.
An investigation has been launched regarding the incident, while police took security measures at the scene.
